Malawi is blessed to have a visionary leader Her Excellency Dr Joyce Banda. She has transformed this country from a paralysis state where lack of fuel and forex made it impossible to travel within the country, this transformation has taken place under her wise leadership in the shortest space of time. Everyone has witnessed that under her leadership there has been no shortages of forex and fuel. She started her career from humble beginnings of empowering fellow women to rise up from the harshness of gender inequalities and with this she has won several world wide acclaimed awards in honour of her work. Recently she was voted the most powerful woman in Africa and besides that, she is the torch bearer of 2014 Malawi Presidential Elections. Dr Joyce Banda is a leader who is down to earth person, very humble, democratic, tolerant, open and transparent and the people of Malawi are blessed she is their president.
